The latest Tri4All camp, held in Rome from October 1st to
4th – coinciding with the 2025 World Triathlon Cup – was a key moment in the
advancement of the European project dedicated to the dissemination and promotion of
Paratriathlon. Over the four days, athletes, guides, and coaches from various countries
(Hungary, Turkey, Malta, Poland, Latvia, and Italy) participated in theoretical and
practical training sessions, workshops, and group activities aimed at exchanging
experiences and skills.
The program alternated orientation sessions with technical training sessions (swimming
and running), educational and training sessions, and a specific module on prevention and
anti-doping. The meticulously organized logistics ensured efficient travel and optimal use
of the available sports and educational facilities.
A total of 25 people participated in the initiative, including athletes, guides, and coaches
representing various sports classes (PTWC, PTS, PTVI, and PTM). The climate of
collaboration, respect, and inclusion allowed the sporting and educational objectives to be
fully achieved.
The event was extremely positive. All activities attracted high participation and strong
engagement. The practical sessions in the pool and on the track fostered high-level
technical exchange, while the training and dialogue sessions strengthened the international
Tri4All network.
Particular appreciation was expressed for the quality of the logistical organization, the
availability of the staff, and the efficiency of the facilities used. The established objectives
were fully achieved, confirming the validity of the cooperation model adopted and the
effectiveness of the integrated approach between training and inclusion.
The Roman experience represented an important step in the growth of the Tri4All project,
helping to strengthen the link between European sports organizations and further
promoting the educational and inclusive dimension of Paralympic sport.
